We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Wangara, helping to drive growth for an Indigenous-owned contractor operating across the resources, infrastructure and defence industries.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Proactively engage with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders across the civil and electrical construction markets to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Identify, track, and assist in developing new business opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy, while supporting market research, pipeline management, and maintaining a live opportunities register.
  • Support the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), tenders, and capability statements in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate client meetings, introductions, and follow-ups to foster long-term relationships and encourage repeat work.
  • Contribute to submission development by preparing Indigenous participation narratives, local content strategies, and clear value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and tender documentation for reporting and opportunity visibility, represent the business professionally at industry events and networking opportunities, and provide general business development and pre-contracts support as the organisation grows.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in business development, sales coordination, account management, or a similar role
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
