ABOUT THE ROLE

We are proud of the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build and are now looking for a Project Engineer to support a newly awarded concrete variation package on Barrow Island.

This role will be based out of our Head Office, Wangara, with the potential to go to Barrow Island for the install.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Oversee and manage your procurement, plant, equipment and resources
• Conduct short- and medium-term planning relating to overall progress
• Identifying and summarising technical information from specifications and drawings
• Issue RFIs and technical queries as required
• Prepare, issue, and follow up RFQ packages, and prepare bid evaluation packages
• Attend inspections at supplier yards for QA inspections and be focal point with the client for organising inspections

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Degree in Engineering from within a related field (Civil Engineering preferred)
• Proven experience in civils and particularly concrete works
• Minimum 1-2 years working on bulk concrete or precast concrete
• Experience of procurement, and supplier and subcontractor management
• Commercial understanding of contract and project cost control management in the civil engineering industry (e.g., understands productivity and measure, forecasting)
