ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking experienced and skilled Plant Operators who are competent operating a variety of machines, specifically Loader, Skid Steer and Excavator, to join our dynamic team based on Barrow Island. 

Ideal candidates will be versatile and have relevant tickets and experience for all 3 machines. 

Supporting the current projects on the Island, including the installation of high voltage cables between the gas plant and the coast, you will be assisting with a variety of tasks.   

Working on the ground from time to time and assist where required to get the job done is an expectation of this role.

The scope of work is varied, and the potential for further upskilling is high.

ABOUT YOU

As an experienced Plant Operator, you will have the following:

• Experience operating mobile plant/machinery in a Civil Construction environment
• National Competency Tickets & experience, including Loader, Skid Steer & Excavator
• HR Drivers Licence (desirable)
• Good attitude and happy to assist on the ground when required
• FIFO experience
• Full Australian working rights

ABOUT BARROW ISLAND

Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf simulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!
