ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based in our Head Office in Wangara, Perth.

An exciting new opportunity for a Estimator to be part of our team, assisting with the development and implementation of consistent, high quality estimating processes.

This role is also available to suit either a Project Engineer or a Senior Project Engineer who has a desire to learn Estimating.

 

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Reviewing tender documentation and preparing drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Preparing and managing cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions/proposals for various design, fabrication, and construction projects.
  • Consulting with various internal teams.
  • Engaging with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Interpreting contract documentation, plans, building processes and procedures, relevant legislation, standards, and codes.
  • Coordinating the overall tender submission process from quantity take-offs and project costing through to analysis of tender documentation and submission preparation.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • At least 5 years in the Construction Industry – Preferably WA experience
  • Civil Engineering Degree or similar
  • Experience working with Teir 1 or 2 Companies
  • Experience in MRWA and/ or Resources Sector – highly regarded
  • Earthworks, roadworks, services installation onsite experience preferred.
  • Ability to use expert estimation software would be good or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to understand how to build up self-preformed work crews
