ABOUT THE ROLE

Ertech is currently seeking expressions of interest for Senior Project Managers & Construction Managers to join our team supporting our long-term major infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham, WA or Wangara, WA.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to (Senior Project Manager):

  • Lead multiple projects from tender through to delivery and handover.
  • Develop construction methodology, schedules and bid plans during tender phase.
  • Drive project outcomes including budget, schedule, quality and commercial performance.
  • Provide clear direction to project leaders and support them to achieve targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage risk, solve problems proactively and make informed decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation and out of the box thinking.
  • Mentor, coach and develop project leaders, including succession planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, safety focused and high-performance team culture.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to (Construction Manager):

  • Managing key deliverables throughout the construction phase.
  • Building, mentoring and guiding a high performing site management team.
  • Working with the Project Manager, Engineers and Supervisors to coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Identifying and solving technical issues and implementing solutions.
  • Nurturing positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Taking ownership for creating a safe working environment across the project.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering large scale infrastructure projects (Defence or MRWA projects desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued between $50 million and $100 million.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
  • Australian Defence background is desirable.
  • MUST hold relevant Australian work rights.
