ABOUT BARROW ISLAND

Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf stimulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based on Barrow Island on 2:2 roster.

We are recruiting for a Superintendent to be part of our team and ongoing success. Our project delivery experience within the oil & gas sector is diverse and includes delivering construct only, design and construct and minor works, as well as operational and maintenance services across a range of works including both civil and structural works.

The project scope covers cross island trenching & cable install between the plant and the coast.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Overseeing large, complex and multi-layered projects to be delivered on time and on budget
• Lead the work onsite to ensure efficient and effective utilisation of resources
• Manage a team of Supervisors and Leading Hands
• Liaise with the engineering, safety, environmental and workshop staff

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 10+ years industry experience (civil construction ideal)
• Demonstrated supervisory ability of teams of 50+ people
• Relationship management and interpersonal skills
• OHS Supervisor training
• Plant tickets, restricted operating licences, general safety Card and Drivers Licence
