ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join our Pre-Contracts Team based in our office in Wangara.

This role is a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, the Bid Manager will be responsible for managing and undertaking the preparation, collation and review of estimates, programs, content, commercial and technical qualifications for our Western Australian bid submissions. Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking and manage the delivery of bids including expression of interests, pre-qualifications, budgets, tenders and presentations.
  • Development of bid winning strategies and plans
  • Providing operational knowledge into bids
  • Contributing to identification, development and maintenance of future opportunities
  • Lead, coach and mentor our bid team to ensure deadlines are met

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or other related qualification
  • Minimum 5 years operational site experience
  • Demonstrated experience ideally with earthworks & roadworks related projects and understanding of first principle tendering techniques  
  • Previous experience with infrastructure and resource projects, operational or tendering will be highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
