ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is a Permanent full-time position, based out of Ertech’s head office in Wangara.

You will be responsible for implementing and promoting sustainability initiatives, targets and reporting across Ertech’s projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and contractual sustainability obligations
  • Conduct sustainability assessments, audits, and reporting in alignment with industry standards and client requirements
  • Monitor and measure sustainability performance indicators, including carbon footprint, waste management, and resource efficiency
  • Provide sustainability training and awareness programs for employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to integrate sustainable construction practices, such as energy efficiency, water conservation, and circular economy principles
  • Liaise with government bodies, clients, and industry groups regarding sustainability initiatives and requirements
  • Support the preparation of sustainability reports, tenders, and submissions for Green Star, IS Rating, NABERS, and other accreditation schemes

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sustainability-related role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as IS Rating Scheme, Green Star, etc
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian environmental legislation and standards
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and sustainability reporting
  • Strong understanding of sustainable construction principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
