YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Trades Assistant (TA) to join our dynamic team in Wangara, Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a Mechanical TA background or for someone eager to start a career in the mechanical side of civil construction, working with mobile plant.

WHAT YOU REQUIRE

• Forklift ticket.
• Full car licence
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Clear communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Willingness to be part of a team

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The role will include but not be limited to the following;

• Conducting pre-start checks on workshop forklifts and utility
• Picking up and delivering parts
• Sorting and moving parts within the workshop
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area in the workshop and associated areas
• Assisting workshop staff as needed
• Performing high-pressure cleaning of Ertech plant and equipment in the wash bay
• Basic mechanical duties dependent on ability and assisting Tradesmen
• Performing yard duties and operating the forklift as directed
