We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator Assistant to join our dynamic team in Wangara. This role is a Permanent full-time position.

As the Contracts Administrator Assistant, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Senior Contracts Administrator to review contractual obligations and contract templates.
  • Provide support to the Senior Contracts Administrator to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes.
  • Bringing down the required head contract conditions into the Ertech agreement suite of documents as required.
  • Works with the procurement to assist in preparation of contracts for suppliers and subcontractors highlighting relevant issues specific to the project.
  • Contributing to the selection, negotiation, and management of Vendors.
  • Supports projects through all aspects of the procurement process for assigned packages, including: the establishment of registers, development of tender packages, seeking proposals, review and analysis of received proposals from Vendors, negotiation and close out of technical and commercial clarifications, development of the final contract for execution and the associated record keeping and approvals.
  • Evaluation and payments of subcontractor claim applications.
  • Supporting in the development and or approval of variations, and claims both to the Client and from Vendors.
  • Raising purchase orders.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Solid understanding of Commercial requirements, contract management, subcontract management, cost control in the Civil Engineering industry.
  • Sound understanding estimating fundamentals.
  • Ability to identify commercial risk and opportunities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge in the use of ERP systems

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Achieved or working towards a tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or similar field (e.g., bachelor’s degree)
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in relevant industry
  • 1 year’s construction project experience
  • Current Drivers Licence
