ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team on Barrow Island. This role plays a key part in supporting the long-term Civil and Electrical scopes on the island. As a Senior Project Engineer, you would ideally have experience working for a civil construction company delivering similar type resourcing projects involving bulk earthworks, excavation and backfill, concrete form work and construction works. ABOUT BARROW ISLAND

Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf simulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management
• Key mandatory experience and disciplines – bulk earthworks with mine site infrastructure
• Highly regarded disciplines also include - Marine wharfing, piling experience the installation of tubular piles, concrete headstocks and deck planks, roads, structures/ concrete, underground services, mine site infrastructure and/or marine
• Leadership skills and experience managing small to medium crews
• Hands on experience gained within a contractor environment in similar industries
• Proven engineering, project controls and contractual management skills.
• Previous FIFO experience
• MUST hold relevant Australian working rights.
