ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Administrator to join our Resources team supporting the long-term Civil and Electrical Construction scopes at Barrow Island.

The HSE Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the HSE team's efforts to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment while working closely with business units to align HSE objectives with the company's overall business goals.

ABOUT BARROW ISLAND

Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf simulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Entering tasks, workplace inspections and HSEQ events (incidents, hazard cards etc) into Oneway
  • Uploading tickets, challenge tests and mobilisation compliance checks
  • General HSE data entry (updating registers from hard copies IE rigging/ladder register)
  • Coordinating training bookings with approved suppliers.
  • Arranging PPE requirements inline with site safety guidelines
  • Welcoming new starters, providing a site introduction, camp walk arounds and arranging blue key and FOC card access
  • Preparing site notices, contact cards and KPI reporting displays

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Related Health & Safety Qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a HSE Administrator or Training Administrator role
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to provide support across multiple departments
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
