ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to business growth, Ertech is hiring for Graduate Surveyors to join our team and gain hands on experience across our civil construction scopes across Perth, WA.

This is your opportunity to become a well-rounded surveyor and obtain valuable hands on experience in civil construction surveying.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Conducting field survey activities including topographic, construction layout, end-of-month and as-built surveys under direction of senior surveyor.
  • Maintenance, and calibration of surveying equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy on-site.
  • Delivering all surveying requirements in compliance with HSEQ standards and project timelines.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to identify design changes, assess impacts, and provide accurate measurements and advice to the site team.
  • Collaborating with Ertech surveyors, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project needs.
  • Analysing survey data to produce accurate maps, models, and reports for project planning and decision-making.
  • Preparing and reviewing project-specific SWMS and supporting a culture of safe work practices.
  • Participating in and contributing to HSEQ reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary study in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • White Card
  • MUST hold relevant Australian work rights.
