ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our team supporting our long-term Infrastructure construction scopes in NSW.

The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and the team to achieve deliverables, aware of contractual obligations and maximise profitability. The Project Engineer will ensure tasks are in alignment with the company’s values and operational procedures which include safety, environmental and quality standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Deliver assigned project scope with accountability, ensuring outcomes meet client expectations, budgets, contract requirements, and quality and HSEQ standards.
  • Provide and seek technical advice on design, construction, program modifications, and structural repairs to support effective project delivery.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships by understanding needs, responding efficiently, and contributing to project profitability through informed decision-making.
  • Proactively assess project situations, identify potential problems, and implement practical solutions to mitigate risks and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Lead by example in collaboration, time management, diversity, and HSEQ compliance, fostering a safe, high-performing team environment.
  • Plan and manage resources effectively, including selecting and guiding subcontractors, to ensure quality, safety, and value for money across all work areas.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in relevant industry
  • TfNSW roads experience
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearence
  • White Card - CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
