ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Scheduler to join our Pre Contracts team based in our Wangara head office in WA.

As the Quantity Scheduler, you will be responsible for supporting the estimating and tendering process by preparing material take offs, coordinating subcontractor pricing and assisting in the development of accurate and competitive tender submissions.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review engineering drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare material take offs and identify material specifications and testing requirements.
  • Engage subcontractors to provide quotations and ensure they receive complete tender information.
  • Monitor tender addendums and communicate updates to subcontractors as required.
  • Review and analyse subcontractor quotations and present recommendations to the Estimator.
  • Assist in determining construction methods, materials and quality standards for tender submissions.
  • Support delivery of work in line with project objectives, budgets and contractual requirements.
  • Identify potential risks or issues within project information and contribute practical solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the estimating and project teams to support tender outcomes.
  • Maintain a commitment to safe work practices and support HSEQ standards.
  • Demonstrate effective self management and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 2+ years’ experience in Quantity Scheduler role or similar
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights.
