ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our NSW Transport & Infrastructure team, based in our Macquarie Park office with occasional site travel.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to long-term, high-impact projects within a supportive and established team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in delivering commercial and contractual outcomes across a range of projects, while supporting team members as required.

In this role, you will help drive business performance, strengthen project outcomes, and maximise profitability through effective contract administration and collaboration across the business.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review and improve contract administration processes across projects, including claims, variations, payments, and vendor management.
  • Lead, mentor and support the commercial team to build capability and achieve commercial objectives.
  • Manage contract negotiations and commercial outcomes, ensuring favourable terms while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Partner with operations, tender, procurement, finance and legal teams to ensure effective commercial delivery across projects.
  • Prioritise and manage competing commercial demands, identifying risks and developing practical solutions to support project outcomes.
  • Promote collaboration, safety, continuous improvement, and professional development while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Senior Contracts Administration role.
  • Solid understanding of Commercial requirements, contract management, subcontract management, cost control in the Civil Engineering industry.
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
