 ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based across the Perth and Metropolitan Region. We are seeking Electricians, to join our dynamic Electrical Department. You will be required to work on a vast number of projects utilising your skillset in cable hauling, connections, testing and commissioning.

 Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Installation & Construction: Executing conduit installation, cable hauling, pit installation, and structural electrical fit-outs in line with project specifications.
  • Terminations & Connections: Completing low-voltage (LV) and control wiring connections, switchboard installations, and terminations accurately and safely.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Conducting mandatory testing, fault finding, and pre-commissioning checks on electrical systems to ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering strictly to Ertech’s safety culture, including completing take-5s, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Maintenance & Diagnostics: Interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings to diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and rectify installation issues on-site.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • WA Electrical Licence  
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • White Card
  • CPR LVR & 1st Aid Certification
  • Proven experience as a leading hand

 Desired skills and experience in:

  • Proven experience in electrical switchboard installation, fit off, and testing
  • Proficiency in understanding drawings and schematics
  • Experience in cable hauling and installation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of safety and workmanship
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Working at Heights
