ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking highly experienced Civil All-Round Operators to join our project delivery team on Barrow Island.

Reporting to the Civil Supervisor, you will be involved in a variety of civil construction activities within an operational gas plant environment. This role is ideally suited to operators who are highly skilled on small mobile plant and have extensive experience performing precise excavation and construction works in confined areas around live infrastructure and underground services.

• Detailed excavation work around existing underground and above-ground infrastructure and services
• Civil Excavation works
• Installation of underground services and associated civil works
• Formwork and Concreting
• Backfilling and reinstatement works
• Paving and finishing works
• Operating a range of small and medium civil plant safely and efficiently
• Working in accordance with permit-to-work systems and strict site safety requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE ROLES ARE.

• Multi ticketed skilled operators - National Competency Tickets. Combinations of; Excavator, Loader, Skid Steer, Roller, Water Cart, Tipper Truck
• Extensive civil earthworks experience
• Demonstrated experience undertaking detailed excavation around live services, existing infrastructure, and within constrained work areas
• Previous experience working within an operational gas plant, oil and gas facility, mine site, or similar high-risk industrial environment
• White card
• Permit to Work training and practical experience
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance
• Full Australian Working Rights

ABOUT BARROW ISLAND SITE

Barrow Island, located approximately 60 kilometres from the mainland and 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier, is home to Chevron’s Gorgon operation and WA Oil operations and hosts Western Australia’s largest oil and gas field.
