ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based in our H/O in Wangara, Perth.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join our dynamic team. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organisation.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct assessments to identify training needs across various departments;
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to understand skill gaps and development opportunities;
  • Design engaging and effective training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules;
  • Create instructional materials and resources that align with organisational goals;
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars using a variety of instructional techniques;
  • Ensure a positive learning environment and adapt delivery methods to meet diverse learning styles;
  • Develop assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs;
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding career development pathways and opportunities;
  • Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations and standards;
  • Assist in the development of mentorship programs and leadership training initiatives;
  • Support the creation of a safe working environment across all offices and projects
  • Liaising with and building effective relationships with Registered Training Organisations (RTO), Education Providers, External Training Providers, TAFE & internal/external clients.
  • Oversee and support the refinement of company processes, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a learning and development role, preferably within a corporate environment within Construction/Mining industries.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
