ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based in Ertech H/O in Wangara, Perth.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer - Project Controls to join our dynamic team. Our project delivery experience within the oil & gas sector is diverse and includes delivering construct only, design and construct and minor works, as well as operational and maintenance services across a range of works including both civil and structural works.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role will be responsible to ensure that systems required for efficient and accurate control of cost, time and risk are identified and implemented.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop project budgets and estimates in line with project scope and work breakdown structure.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting of cost performance, forecast spend, manhours left on scope, etc.
  • Measure and compare project performance to baseline, identifying any deviations and corrections required.
  • Produce data, s-curves and other visual representations of project cost performance.
  • Review overall project status and forecasts with the Commercial Manager and Project Managers.
  • Review and analyze all claims, Change Orders, etc.
  • Subcontractor management and setting up accounts with suppliers.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in either Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in a similar role in construction, mining, oil and gas, or other heavy industry.
  • Any additional Project Management or Project Controls certifications are valuable.
