ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position for upcoming projects based in the Perth Metro area.

As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for minimising the occupational risks and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and Ertech standards. The HSE Advisor provides guidance to all personnel in the areas of HSE training, corrective actions, issues and successes, and conducts incident investigations to explore continuous improvements.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the development, monitoring and achievement of the HSE objectives
  • Responsible for project capability in hazard identification and risk control
  • Management of incidents and injuries, including writing of reports and making recommendations
  • Ensures compliance with HSE procedures and implementation; manages corrective actions
  • Improves processes in line with safety and environment law
  • HSE Reporting

 

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 5+ years HSE Advisory experience (Civil Infrastructure/Construction)
  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
  • Generalist HSE skills, including incident investigation (iCAM) and Lead Auditing capability
